Cavalcante was wearing an Eagles hoodie when he was arrested.

With the seriousness of his actions, it’s safe to say that Philadelphia residents wouldn’t react kindly if they encountered him on the streets. Some on social media joked that his choice of an Eagles sweatshirt may have inadvertently helped him evade capture at the end of the search.
During his two weeks on the run, Cavalcante struggled to find basic necessities and attempted to change his appearance by shaving his face. Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro also joined in on the fun
Following his capture, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro praised law enforcement for their relentless efforts and success. He also had a message for whoever lost their Eagles sweatshirt to Cavalcante, promising to get them one of the new Kelly Green ones. He said:
“Folks, whoever had their Eagles hoodie stolen, if you could let us know, I’ll do my best to get you one of the new Kelly Green ones, ok?”
